Romanian Ambassador at the Security in the Black Sea Conference (Copenhagen, 4 September)

On 4 September 2019, H.E. Alexandru Grădinar, Ambassador of Romania to Denmark and Iceland, participated as guest speaker, alongside the Georgian, Ukrainian and Turkish ambassadors in Copenhagen, in the conference “Security in the Black Sea Region” organized by the Danish Foreign Policy Society and the Royal Danish Defence College. The Romanian ambassador presented the landscape and the challenges of the Black Sea region security, focusing on Romania’s role in preserving the regional stability, in its capacity of NATO and EU member state, as well as on the similarities between the security situations in the Black Sea and in the Baltic Sea, which provide the ground for enhancing the bilateral cooperation between Romania and Denmark in this field.

The debate was followed by around 50 participants, who engaged in a lively dialogue with the speakers.
