Vlad-Alexandru Robu and Bogdan Nicola – in concert in Copenhagen

On 11 February 2016, the Embassy of Romania in Copenhagen and the Italian Institute of Culture co-organized a concert by Romanian artists Vlad-Alexandru Robu (tenor) and Bogdan Nicola (piano), performed at the premises of the Italian institution in the Danish capital. The program included a repertoire by renowned Italian, Romanian and Austrian musicians (Francesco Paolo Tosti, Ennio Morricone, Ottorino Respighi, Tiberiu Brediceanu, Stefano Donaudy, Joseph Haydn), as well as an improvisation on a Romanian theme by pianist Bogdan Nicola.

At the beginning of the concert, the Romanian Ambassador in Copenhagen, Viorel Ardeleanu, took the floor highlighting the excellent collaboration of the Romanian diplomatic mission with the Italian Institute of Culture and presenting the activity of the two musicians, focusing on the interest in promoting the talented Romanian youth in Denmark. The concert was attended by more than 100 persons (members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Denmark, representatives of the Romanian community in this country and especially the Danish public) who expressed their appreciation and positive reviews on the artistic performance.
